Creative Director.

Cherise specialises in graphic and web design and combines her passion for design with years of marketing experience. Cherise founded Joelle Studio in 2019 to create a unique and memorable design experience service.

After studying Mass Communications, she began her career working as a copywriter, which left her working heavily on websites uploading and creating content. It fuelled her love of design, which she then studied. Later, Cherise founded Joelle Studio because she was tired of seeing the same clinical websites online; she wanted to bring a creative and magazine-like feel to the digital world.

In the past, Cherise has worked with brands like Mantra Hotels, TAFE NSW and Visit Sunshine Coast, but now focuses on supporting small businesses. Her work in social media and influencer relations, as well as teaching, gives her a holistic outlook on design and a point of difference.

Emma R.

Graphic designer

Meet Emma, Visual Artist and Graphic Designer with 7+ years within the creative industry. Having a diploma in Visual Arts, entailing illustration, colour theory, painting and ceramics, as well as a Diploma in Graphic Design through CATC Design School, a DIA-recognised course; Emma has forever been involved and amidst the creative arts since a young age. Growing up in Brisbane, Queensland, then later moving to the Goldcoast to expand on career opportunities and creative skillsets, Emma has worked alongside creative teams in the real estate and property development industry, fashion and swimwear, hospitality and events, as well as health retreats and wellness studios.

Having a passion for bespoke and original design, Emma prides herself and her work on the utmost attention to detail, with longevity in mind. Meaningful and intentive design that resonates with its owners and creators, and their customers and client base.

1 / CLIENT BRIEF

Phone call & inspiration brief.

Let’s chat! We’ll begin with a quick call to go over your goals and requirements. Next, you’ll need to complete the brand or site inspiration brief, so that we can move forward with the project.

2 / FIRST PASS

Initial design revealed first round of changes.

The first pass of your website or branding will be submitted to you. From here, we can jump on a call to go through it all. At this point, your first round of feedback will be submitted, and changes will be made.

3 / FINAL REVIEW

Branding or website completed and ready to go!

The final site will be submitted for your review, with any final changes made. For branding, you will be sent a full-style guide of how to implement your brand. For websites - you will be sent a full tutorial of how to use your new site, and you can begin using it!
